To sneak – to slink without
detection
Who is
sneaky?
We can
all
be
sneaky
(tee hee), but
sneAkys was created by, Leanne Cooper director of Cadence Health (pictured right with sons Zachariah
and Samuel).
Leanne Cooper is a nutritionist,
leading childhood nutrition expert and author of infant and childhood nutrition books, including ‘What Do I Feed My Baby?’. Leanne’s nutritional support and advice is featured on Huggies websites worldwide, she is on numerous Expert Panels, and consults on nutrition to a number of parenting organisations and magazines. She has been passionately
involved in health and education for over 20 years.

How did
sneAkys
come about?
As a
mother my skills in the subtle art of food
sneakiness have been fine tuned since my
son Zach
was born in 2002. Like many mamma’s and dadda’s, I knew my son
was adept at spotting a vegetable (sometimes from as far away as 25
metres).
Trying
to find healthy but tasty snacks for children seemed impossible, so I
brushed up on my baking skills. Feeling rather
sneaky
about my success with my son, I spread the word and quickly all the children of
my
friends were ‘sneakying’. Out of this
sneAkys
snacks were created and our
Sneakys
books and recipes.
Soon even my poor cooking skills were improving as I
snuck vegetables into everything I could
think of. Now
Sneakys
is bigger than just me, it's a team of dedicated mums all working
together on books, editorials and parent support in all areas of infant
and childhood healthy eating.
As the nutrition advisor for Huggies Baby Club and a number of other parenting
services I very quickly realised the support parents with fussy eaters
needed. Fussy eating remains one of the most common questions I am
asked about today.
What
sort of
sneaky
things do we do?
Sneakys caters for bubs starting on solid right through to toddlers and early school aged children. We pride ourselves on providing consitent, quality nutritional support for parents. So many of our decisions in parenting are wrapped in guilt, Sneakys provides a guilt-free, realistic and pratical approach to feeding babies and children.
Unbeknown to kids (due to the cone of silence) we
sneak in a multitude of ways, deliciously healthy foods that have
fruit and shhhh… vegetables into their lunch boxes and meals. Our
dastardly plan is rarely foiled.
Sometimes we are extra
sneaky and tempt parents too; now nibbling the kids foods won’t sneak up on your waist line. Our product
and recipe analysts are among the fussiest bubs and kids in the
country; we pride ourselves on our high approval rating.
