Hi it's Rachel Vincent, director of Skipit Fitness, I'm super excited about sharing my message of less is more. Virgin Active Health Clubs love it, running Skipit classes 4 times a week, Fit Fix Personal training clients also love it and they are just two groups using the course in two very different ways to create time effective 30minute training sessions for their peeps.


No more long workouts, yes Skipit will get your clients great results in less time. Now with Cadence Health and Skipit Fitness joining forces you my fellow instructors can teach your clients the series of moves to enhance and tone each of the major muscle groups, in less time!

The idea of Skipit Fitness began when commitments to work and family diminished my time for regular exercise. Skipit Fitness was born after I had my third bub. I kissed my corporate professional life goodbye and went back to the fitness and wellness industry that I had started in way back in 1992.

A 20 minute Skipit Fitness workout with the weighted rope was equivalent to a 6km run with significantly lower impact. Skipping can form part of a larger workout but with the course technique and moves, it has become a class that gets results all on its own.
Skipit Fitness utilises a specially designed skipping rope that has weight for added resistance while focusing on several key techniques to generate a full body workout.  The rope is crucial to ensure your clients get maximum tone and strength in their upper body in less time. With the rope, clients will also trip up less frequently. This is why I produced my own ropes, which you can purchase from Skipit Fit if you hate tripping up as much as me.

“My passion was running but it’s not the most time friendly of exercise activities. After quite a lot of trialling mainly due to rope quality, until I designed my own, I found skipping was the best option when you’re time poor and need all weather, no babysitter fitness,”

“I noticed the sharp increase in my cardio level but what was interesting was the number of strangers asking me what I did to have such a toned body. I realised the potential was there to take it one step further.”

"The results I achieved were motivation to write a program for instructors and formulate a 30 minute Skipit class for gyms as another alternative to the Les Mills Choreographed classes such as Body Combat, Body Pump or Spin classes.
Skip It Fit Instructor Training offered by Cadence Health

Fitness Australia approved the Instructor Skipit program as an online program and/or a one - day tutorial and assessment course with accreditation for six Continuing Education Credits (CECs).  The online course is fun and again time effective way of getting accredited.
