Before enrolling please read the course syllabus to ensure you are aware of the study requirements for this course: Download a syllabus COURSE OUTLINE Four modules of three hours of study for each, plus assessable tasks and at least one trainer-to-student discussion (phone or Skype). Brief course content Depression Anxiety Psychosis Substance misuse Suicidal thought and behaviours Non-suicidal self-injury Panic attacks Traumatic events Sever psychotic states Sever effects from alcohol or other drug misuse Aggressive behaviours Participants will learn the signs and symptoms of these mental health problems, where and how to get help and what sort of help as been shown by research to be effective.
